judging a person's character by how they interact with my family

lol, i know it's the cultural norm, but I also totally don't get why meeting a person's parents/family would have to mean commitment, but I guess thats because I go everywhere with my family, so in real life it's impossible to meet me without meeting my family. In fact, all my life, that's usually how I judge a person's character.. back when my dad was alive, it was the kids who could sit and hold an fun conversation with my dad that I respected.. then again, my dad was renown for being able to hold a fascinating conversation with anyone. lol. but kiddo has taken after him in oh so many way... anybody who is worth talking to, can hold quite a remarkable conversation with him that I can relaxingly and laughingly sit back and listen to with amusement. (then again, he is an unusual child, or at least he used to be. I guess he has become a little bit more like other kids since the divorce, but I am sure once he regains his confidence he will become more like his younger self.

not sure how much you feel about other people's photography.. but I was tempted to send you the instagram we created for kiddo to put up some of his pictures.. it doesn't have his better ones from last year and years before, bc we tend to only post recent ones. though we did make a puzzle from some of the ones I really liked the year before. of course, all we have is just a regular phone camera, so grain wise or resolution wise, it's not the best.
