if you are the one who initiated the divorce, then i have no respect for you.
i dont care what your spouse did, unless you yourself or.your kids were in literal physical or major immediate psychological danger, and unless you all did tons of  counseling and unless you both mutually agreed to the divorce, and or unless you made sure to give your spouse EVERYTHING, starting from scratch from taking NOTHING with you and leaving everything behind you for your spouse: kids, house and money... i just simply have NO respect for you.

Now some will tell me ohhh but certain circumstances where a persona life is in danger or the welfare of the kids are at play... well okay.. under unusual circumstances like that,  yes.. But my impression is that MOST common divorces today is bc one spouse is just bored or tired or disgruntled or not feeling appreciated enough.. not getting needs or expectations met and expecting the spouse to be a certain way.. and wrll THAT lame excuse is just ....  well it should be illegal in my opinion.
