I would rather have paying clients than friends

Why would I rather have paying clients than "friends."

"Friends" don't pay the bills or pay rent or pay for my time.

They expect me to donate my time and energy to them for free..

I'd much rather have lifetime clients or clients for life than friends who dont do anything other than expect me to listen to them for five hours and  drain my energy 

If they are helping me out with rides or helping me save money, fine. 

But if they are doing that with the expectation that we give them anything more than our ears, no way jose.

And we most certainly will not allow people in our lives who want to control our lives!
