its really as simple as this:
you walk away leaving everything else behind as wel!!!. if you cant be attached to your spouse then dont insult to injury by being attached to anything else over them. nothing you own should be more important then their lives. so leave it all behind unless they dont want it. you let them decide what they want to keep or not keep.
you have done enough damage by giving up on them. so you let them decide what they want to keep or not keep.
you make sure they have enough monetary resources so they dont have to worry abour money
and if you have kids and actually want the best for then then IF your kid happens to have an opinion you make sure you do your best to honor your childs request. DONT UNDERESTIMATE how much they understand. Believe me, they understand way far more then you realize. give them the dignity and respect of honoring their opinion and aiming to try to do their solution.
you may think there needs to be a complicated solution, but its really not if you stop being selfish and actually stop to care about other peoples feelings and needs and take the time to practice nvc and active listening to other peoples feelings needs and requests!
I suspected my wife of cheating on me but I never had any proof.
